With two minutes of the regular time left Sahil Tavora provided the much needed equalizer for the Nizams. The encounter was highly strung and stretched to penalties where misses from Mario Leskovic, Nishu Kumar and Jeakson Singh gave Hyderabad FC a 3-1 lead in the shootout to hand the maid trophy to the Nizams.
