David Williams scored the opener for ATKMB in the ninth minute. However, an own goal from Pritam Kotal in the 24th minute restored equivalence for Mumbai. Both teams made their fair chances of scoring in each half. Nevertheless, they could produce a winner.
The Mariners took control off the start emanating with bright skills. Liston Calaco was mangled down. However, it could not bring the free-kick for the Mariners.
