
Thiruvananthapuram: India defeated New Zealand by 46 runs at Thiruvananthapuram to clinch the T20I series 4-1.
India lost early wicket of Sanju Samson (6) Batting first. Abhishek Sharma (30) gave initial momentum.
Ishan Kishan then took the matters in his own hands after openers’ dismissal and smashed maiden T20I hundred. Surya Kumar Yadav (63) & Hardik Pandya (42) also played vital knocks to take India to 271-5 (20).
Defending 272 runs, Finn Allen (80), Rachin Ravindra (30) tried hard, along with ending cameo of Ish Sodhi (33) but New Zealand got all out on 225 (19.4).
Arshdeep Singh picked 5 wickets, where as, Axar Patel took 3 wickets.
