Defending 232 runs, Gujarat Titans gave triple blow to Chennai Super Kings at 10 runs in the powerplay.
Moeen Ali (56)& Daryl Mitchell (63) piled up 109 runs partnership bringing CSK back into the game.
Mohit Sharma brought GT back to the game with his 3-fer , breaking middle order.
MS Dhoni (26*) tried to finish the game but CSK fell short by 35 runs, ending at 196-8.
In 1st Innings, GT reached a mammoth total with help of Shubman Gill (104) & Sai Sudarshan (103) , with partnership of 210 runs.
A cameo from David Miller (16*) brought GT to 231-3 (20).
Shubman Gill was adjourned the Man of the Match for his heroics.
