Pune: After being knocked LBW for 48 by Mumbai Indians in an IPL 2022 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Saturday, angry Virat Kohli screamed his fury as he walked off the field.

Kohli was bowled out on the opening delivery of the Dewald Brevis. The former RCB captain reviewed the judgment after it was declared out by the on-field umpire. The third umpire, on the other hand, believed the ball struck both the bat and the pad at the same time, and there was insufficient evidence to overrule the on-field umpire’s ruling. Kohli was enraged by the decision and went back to the pavilion slamming his bat on the ground.

Kohli was in fine form prior to his demise, putting up 80 runs for the second wicket with youthful Anuj Rawat as RCB cruised to victory.

Rawat, who had previously shown flashes of his brilliance, eventually showed up, hitting 66 off 47 balls. He hit two fours and six sixes in his knock.

The two undefeated hitters at the crease were Dinesh Karthik and Glenn Maxwell, as RCB knocked down the 152-run goal with seven wickets in hand and nine balls to spare.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav’s magnificent 37-ball 68 helped Mumbai Indians reach 151 for six in their 20 overs.

MI were down to 79 for six at one point, but Suryakumar counterattacked wonderfully to get his team to a respectable total.

After the loss, Mumbai were still without a win after four games, while RCB moved up to third place in the IPL points table with their third win in four games.
