Pune: Lucknow Super Giants took advantage of the Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) blunders to win by 20 runs at MCS Stadium in Pune on Friday in the Indian Premier League 2022 match 42.

Kagiso Rabada’s fifth four-wicket haul helped PBKS bowl their way to a 153-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants. Punjab faltered to finish at 133 for eight in 20 overs after what should have been an easy chase.

LSG’s spirited bowling effort was headed by pacer Dushmantha Chameera (2/17) and Krunal Pandya (2/11), but they were also helped by the Punjab hitters’ recklessness, which included skipper Mayank Agarwal (25), Liam Livingstone (18), and Jonny Bairstow (2/11). (32).

Quinton de Kock scored 46 runs and had an 85-run partnership with Deepak Hooda for the second wicket, but LSG’s middle order crumbled. In just 5 overs, they slipped from 98 for 1 to 126 for 7, losing 8 wickets for just 28 runs.

After a 20-run victory on Friday, LSG climbed to third place. Rahul’s squad has 12 points from nine games and appears to be on track to qualify for the 10-team season’s play-offs.
