Mumbai: Anushka Sharma was in the stand cheering for her husband and appeared ecstatic as RCB former skipper Virat Kohli came out of the shell to hit his first half-century of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season against Gujarat Titans (GT) as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) posted 170/6 in 20 overs on Saturday.
Kohli finally got among the runs after going into the game with scores of 9, 0 and 0 in his previous three outings, and the crowd, his teammates, and his better-half couldn’t contain their joy. The former Indian cricket team skipper answered his critics in fine fashion as he scored 58 off 53 balls, including six fours and a six, in 45 balls.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami, put an arm around the batter’s shoulder and appreciated his effort in coming out of the dugout.
