IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals await Chennai Super Kings challenge

Dubai: After losing their previous match against Rajasthan Royals, former champions Chennai Super Kings would like to want to bring their campaign back on track when they face high-flying Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday (September 25).

Despite Faf du Plessis’ brilliant knock and skipper MS Dhoni’s late strikes, the Yellow Army fell short of their target, thanks to some brutal hitting from Sanju Samson in Rajasthan colours. The absence of Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo was clearly felt and according to previous reports the duo might return to the playing XI for this match.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are coming off from a thrilling Super Over win against Kings XI Punjab and their Australian recruit Marcus Stoinis would be the man to watch out for. The likes of West Indian Shimron Hetmyer and young Prithvi Shaw would also like to return back in form. Meanwhile, Ravichandra Ashwin is still doubtful for the match after injuring his shoulder in the previous game.

Either way, both teams would eager to get their second win of the season and maintain their pace, especially with the league scoreboard slowly taking shape. With two valuable points up for grabs in Dubai, everyone can expect another charming and entertaining game between two of the more renowned sides in the tournament.
