Flumserberg: Indian golfer Tvesha Malik finished a record-breaking tied-fourth at the Flumserberg Ladies Open at the Gams-Werdenberg Golf Club, Switzerland. It was Malik’s career-best result at an international event. Her previous best was tied-sixth at the Women’s Indian Open, a Ladies European Tour event, last year.
The 24-year-old, who had 69-69 in the first two days, started on the 10th. Teeing up from hole one in the first round on Friday, Malik carded a bogey in the par-four second. But she fought back splendidly hitting four birdies on the fifth, 11th, 16th and 17th holes to end the day tied-fifth with a three-under 69.

The second day started poorly for Malik with a double bogey on the par-four first. But she immediately came back with a hat-trick of birdies. She hit one more in the final hole of the front nine to end the day two-under 36. Starting from the 10th on the final day, Tvesa Malik began the game with a bogey, but She fought back with birdies in the par-four 14th and par-five 18th.
Meanwhile, Malik’s Indian compatriot Diksha Dagar finished tied-47th after carding a total of eight-over 224. Diksha scored one-over 73 in the first round and two-over 74 in the second. She carded only two birdies and a whopping seven bogeys to finish with a five-over 77.
