India announce squad for New Zealand Test Series, Jasprit Bumrah named Vice Captain, no return for Mohammed Shami

Kolkata : India announced 15 members squad for 3 Match Home Test Series against New Zealand starting from October 16 to November 1. Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah is named the vice captain whereas, Mohammed Shami is yet to return to the squad.

There’s no change in Test squad compared to the recent Bangladesh Test series.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, youngster inform Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, veteran Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel form the core Batting department.

Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Ashwin will remain as main all rounders in lower middle order. Along with them Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav shape the spin department.

Akash Deep , Mohammad Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah shape the brutal pace department.
