The Day started with Yashasvi Jaiswal (175) getting run out, barely missing his double hundred.
Shubman Gill smashed 129* (196) comprising 16 boundaries and 2 sixes, and was well accompanied by Nitish Reddy (43) and Dhruv Jurel (44). India declared on mammoth total of 518-5.
West Indies Batters showed brute force coming to Bat, but Ravindra Jadeja picked 3 important wickets while Kuldeep Yadav dismissed dangerous Alick Athanaze (41).
West Indies ended the day on 140-4, trailing by 378 runs.
