Bowling first, New Zealand kept picking Bangladeshi wickets at regular intervals of time. Despite handy knocks of skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (77) & Jaker Ali (45), Bangladesh could only manage 236-9 (50). Kiwi spinner Michael Bracewell picked 4/26 and trapped Batters.

Glenn Phillips (21*) & Bracewell (11*) did rest of the job as Kiwis chased down the total in 46.1 overs.
Bracewell was adjourned man of the match for his match winning spell.
With this outcome, New Zealand and India have qualified for semi final from Group A, while Pakistan and Bangladesh have been knocked out.
