Hyderabad FC miss chance to go atop the table after Jamshedpur draw

Goa: Hyderabad FC failed to go to the top of the Indian Super League points table after they failed to win against a mighty Jamshedpur FC on Wednesday (December 2). Aridane Santana scored for Hyderabad before Stephen Eze equalised to settle the matter between the two sides.

The match started with a promise as Hyderabad looked promising from the first minute. They were attacking more on the Jamshedpur’s penetrative zone and made the life of their defenders difficult. A shot from Halicharan Narzary missed the gaol for inches or else Hyderabad would have been leading in the first half. Jamshedpur looked a bit out of shape as all their attacks were failing to make any impact.

The second half started with a bang as Aridane scored the first goal at the 50th minute. That was the time when Hyderabad would have killed the game but missed opportunities and failed to capitalise on the chances. In the 85th minute, Jamshedpur defender Eze scored the equaliser.

Both the teams had chances to win the match but it wasn’t easy at any moment in this year’s ISL to finish perfectly. As teams are scoring late and distributing points among themselves, this is going to be one exciting of an ISL to say.

Hyderabad should have won the game with the performance they have showcased today but they lacked inventiveness to finish the match. Coach Manolo Marquez should be aware of this thing or else they might miss out on big opportunities with the fire power they possess.

Jamshedpur on the other hand lacked talent in the midfield. Their defence looked better than before but still, Owen Coyle has to strengthen his midfield to play the correct pass for Nerijus Valskis for a killer finish. After three games Hyderabad FC has earned five points whereas Jamshedpur FC has earned two points after their third game.
