Goa: The match between Hyderabad FC and Bengaluru FC of Indian Super League season seven ended in a goalless draw in Fatorda Stadium after two teams failed to create positive opportunities to seal the deal for themselves.

The match started slowly as both the team was focused more on the defensive side of their game. But Hyderabad FC looked positive with their movements even Aridane Santana’s header was well saved by Bengaluru keeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. In the second half, both the team was trying to edge past each other but were failing in the final third.

Sunil Chettri tried but was not getting enough support or chances for the killer finish. The match ended nil-nil with points shared between two good-looking sides for this ISL season.

Bengaluru FC under Carles Cuadrat played a similar wing play game since his joining as club coach in 2018. The attacking style looks outdated now as the team was not playing like Bengaluru FC they have been in the past. It’s just been the shadow of this prolific BFC side. Cuadrat lacks consistency from his forwards, and he needs to understand Chettri is 36 now so he needs someone like Miku Fedor to support him not the ones he has now. This will be a difficult season for them if the gameplay goes like this.

Hyderabad FC looked fresh till now in two matches. They have earned 4 points out of their first two games and it tells that the team has changed their approach this season. Last season was a poor season for them but this season they are looking like a dark horse who can make things happen.
