Paris : Georginio Wijnaldum who is a free agent this summer, was about to join FC Barcelona as per many reports. The Liverpool player who won UEFA Champions League in 2019 and also played an integral role as his team won the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and most importantly the Premier League after 30 years.
The Dutch international had a verbal agreement with the Catalan side till 2024 and even his medicals were scheduled in the Dutch national camp as players are currently deployed for national duties.
Gini is hence reported to be heading towards Paris instead of Spain, as per many sources. The final outcome is still a mystery only the official announcement can clear.
