Gareth Bale dazzles as Tottenham Hotspur cruise past Burnley

London: Gareth Bale after his return to English football has finally made a mark as his brace helped Tottenham Hotspur seal a thumping 4-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League.

Apart from the Welshman, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura were on Target for Jose Mourinho’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (February 28).  Bale took just 68 seconds into the game to open his account going in behind defence to find Son Heung Min’s delivery into the box.

The Welshman then set up Kane who smashed it home for the second. Spurs moved the ball swiftly creating chances for them against a side that is known for its defensive resilience.

Lucas Moura added the third from a swerving delivery by Sergio Reguilon before Bale completed his brace bending one around Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope to seal the deal for Spurs who now stand at eighth in the table.
