Nicolas Otamendi upset the home fans in the 63rd minute with the match winning goal.
The notable incident that took place in pre match was the brawl between the 2 nation’s fans.
The violent pre match incident started few minutes after the National Anthems , and halted the start of the match for atleast 27 minutes. Argentine skipper Lionel Messi headed to the dressing room for over 20 minutes as a result along with the team.
1 fan left the stadium bleeding. Atleast 8 people were arrested as a result of the altercation.
The brawl even continued in the initial 20 minutes of the match but eased down later on.
