FC Barcelona face Real Madrid for the season’s first El Clasico in an empty Camp Nou

Barcelona :FC Barcelona is going to face Real Madrid on Saturday (24 October), which is the first Clasico of the the season 2020-2021. The epic battle between the age old rivals is one of the most viewed event of Sports. Both the clubs have a huge fanbase across the world.


This Clasico would be different from others, as it is supposed to be the first time FC Barcelona is going to host the Los Blancos in an empty Camp Nou. Although both the teams are expecting the intensity and competition to be as fierce as ever.


Both the sides faced defeat in La liga last week, while FC Barcelona lost to Getafe away from home, Real Madrid lost to newly promoted Cádiz at home. Both the teams would like to get back their winning streak, by winning this prestigious clash.


However, the scoreline was different for UCL games played mid week. FC Barcelona won by 5-1 against Ferencvaros and Real Madrid faced a shocking defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk at home by 2-3.


Whereas, Zinedine Zidane’s men would like to redeem themselves, so would Barcelona under their new manager Ronald Koeman who is about to manage his team in the Clasico for the very first time.


The last two times these teams faced each other FC Barcelona failed to secure a win ( one draw one loss). If Ronald Koeman’s men manage to score on Saturday that would be their 400th goal in this fixture.
