Fan pays bill worth Rs 6683 for India cricketers in a Melbourne restaurant

Melbourne: Cricket is like a religion in India. The immense love of fans for the game and players has left many overseas players in awe. Cricketers are no less than Bollywood stars. Fans go the distance to even get a glimpse of their favourite cricketers. If there are two things Indians love, it has to be entertainment and cricket without any doubt.

Talking about the same, recently an Indian fan has won the hearts of Indian cricketers with his gesture towards them whom he spotted in a restaurant in Melbourne. The start of the year 2021 was at its best for the fan name Navaldeep Singh (according to his Twitter handle) who spotted Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill and Navdeep Saini, at a restaurant in Melbourne.

Navaldeep was also at the restaurant at the same time and paid their food bill worth AUD 118.69 (Rs 6683). The fan, who came up with this amazing gesture, shared a video and some photos on Twitter to tell the world about this on Twitter to inform the world about this. The Indian fan has additionally tweeted the invoice’s picture.

The fan also shared when the players got to know about a fan paying the bill for them, Rohit Sharma asked him to take the money with even Rishabh Pant hilariously telling him that the photo will be clicked only if he takes the money back. However, even then the fan (Navaldeep) didn’t agree. Pant even hugged the fan before the players clicked the picture with the fan and his wife. He shared the incident on his Twitter.

Known for his witty sense of humour Pant even thanked the fan’s wife saying, “Thank you bhabhi ji for the lunch.”

The fan narrated the whole incident on his Twitter handle and social media is busy congratulating him for the great start of the year for him and praising him for his wonderful gesture towards the cricketer.
