Munich: German defender Jerome Boateng had been reportedly found guilty of inflicting premeditated harm on his former partner Sherin Senler as stated by a spokesperson for Munich court on Friday.
Boateng was hit with the accusations of injuring Senler and verbally abusing her when they were at a vacation in Turks and Caicos Island in July 2018. Senler who had two children with the former Bayern Munich defender had cited her former partner of beating her , biting her head, insulting her and eventually throwing a glass lantern at her along with a cooling bag.
To the accusations , Boateng replied with a different version of the story saying it was Senler who lost her calm after a game of cards started insulting him and hitting him, even injuring his lower lip. Boateng’ s lawyer Kai Walden had previously stated that the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner is disputing the allegations.
Boateng was presented to the court for trial on Thursday and was penalized with €1.8 million.
