Budapest: The uncertainty of Group F (termed as a group of death) at Euro 2020 will take a turn for an exciting day of football as Portugal lock horns against France and Germany taking on Hungary with all the teams having a chance to qualify for the knockouts.

France sit at the top of the group with four points while Portugal missed a chance to go atop the table after a crushing 2-4 defeat against Germany. Hungary sit at the bottom with just one point. While a draw would be enough for France to confirm their next round spot, the battle is between the rest of the teams to make to the pre-quarterfinals.

Portugal who has never failed to advance from group stages will continue to play without Nuno Mendes and Joao Cancelo. The remaining team is supposed to be the same with skipper Cristiano Ronaldo leading the charge with Diego Jota and backed up by Bruno Fernandes.

Rui Patricio would be guarding the post again with help of Nicolas Pepe, Ruben Dias and Nelson Semedo in defense. The reigning World Cup champions France will be missing Benjamin Pavard owing to his head injury. Les Blues will also be missing Ousmane Dembele’s services after the Barcelona star picked up a knee injury against Hungary.

Lucas Hernandez could be back along with Jules Kounde and Corentin Tolisso helping in stopping the Portugal front while Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Greizmann and Karim Benzema would team up to retain their top spot.

On the other hand, Germany who brought themselves back into competition after beating Portugal would do everything in power to advance into the Round of 16. Germany is likely to keep the same lineup with Kai Havertz, Thomas Muller and Sergio Gnabry in the front, followed by Joshua Kimmich, Toni Kroos and Ikay Gundogan.

German Captain Manuel Neuer will keep the posts while Likes of Mats Hummels, Robin Gosens support him in the backline. Hungary, who held France to an impressive draw, would like to continue their momentum and even hoping to cause an upset.

In other Group E encounters, Sweden will be taking on Poland and Spain face Slovakia. Spain and Poland would be desperate to land a win to qualify while Sweden and Slovakia would not be so ready to give up their spots.
