London : Harry Brook and Joe Root recorded highest 4th innings against India on Day 4 of 5th Test at Kennington Oval, London. However, Indian pacers managed 3 late wickets to comeback into the game.
England started the day with losing Ben Duckett (54) and Ollie Pope (27), ending up on 106-3.
However, Harry Brook (111) and Joe Root (105) had other plans as the duo notched up record 195 runs partnership, with both smashing individual tons.
However, by the end of the day, Indian pacers picked 3 more wickets. Akash Deep took the wicket of Harry Brook while Prasidh Krishna dismissed Joe Root and Jacob Bethell (5). Rain interrupted by the end of the day and stumps were called with England finishing on 339-6.
