Kolkata : Defending and 41 times champion East Bengal FC are all set to face Tamluk Khelaghar George Telegraph SC in the opening game of Calcutta Football League 2026 at East Bengal Ground / Aryan Ground at 4 PM in Group 1 Fixture.
After much discussions regarding the start, the Calcutta Football League (CFL) is all set to commence on 12th July.
IFA has announced the first round fixtures with 11 games across 2 groups till 15th July.
After the first day game, second day (13th July) will see 4 matches. Mohun Bagan Super Giants will begin their campaign on this day as they take on Mamoni Group Patha Chakra at Mohun Bagan Ground or CFC Ground. Other matches are Behala Sporting vs Calcutta Customs, United Kolkata SC vs Railway FC. 13th July will mark of Group 1 first round.
14th July will feature 5 matches and commencement of Group 2. All matches will be played simultaneously across different venues at 3 PM.
Calcutta Police will take on Aryan Club at Naihati Stadium at 3 PM. Another Bengal giant – Mohammedan SC, who are currently struggling, will also begin their campaign against Rainbow Athletic Club at Mohammedan / Howrah Union Ground.
Group 2 and CFL 2026 first round fixture will come to an end on 15th July as Measures Club will face Police Athletic Club at Bidhannagar MSA Ground at 3 PM.
