16 times Durand Cup champion ast Bengal topped Group A defeating South United, Indian Air Force and Namdhari FC in dominant fashion. Whereas, there arch rivals and 17 times Durand Cup champion Mohun Bagan Super Giants topped Group B defeating Mohammedan SC, BSF, Diamond Harbour FC, the other Bengal quarter finalist.
The probability of arranging derby in quarter final was most talked about topic in recent days in Indian Football. Now to the delight of fans, the event is set to take place on August 17, 2025, and both the teams will field full strength squads.
