London : Ex Chelsea attacking midfielder Oscar, on Monday, talked about his return to EPL. He has revealed that his former club and national teammates Willian and David Luiz, have requested him to join Arsenal. The Brazilian trio joined Chelsea back in 2012-2013 season and had a successful career in the London based club.
Oscar told Fox Sports Brasil: “They [Willian and Luiz] called me. We have good communication.
“Sometimes I talk to them. They said ‘come to Arsenal, come here’.
Oscar played five years for the Chelsea, after joining them from Internacional for £20 million. He won two Premier League titles and a UEFA Europa League for the Blues. He scored 38 goals in 203 matches for Chelsea before offloading himself to the Chinese Super League for whopping £60 million.
He joined Sanghai SIGP in the Chinese Super League and has won the league title in 2018 and also won the Chinese FA Super Cup last year. He has scored 39 goals in 123 matches for his new club till date and is contracted till 2024 on a £400000-a-week wages.
But he claimed that his former teammates and current Arsenal players Willian and David Luiz has requested him for a transfer move to Arsenal and play along with them under Mikel Arteta.
