Kolkata: South African fast bowler Dale Steyn has made himself unavailable for the upcoming 2021 season of the Indian Premier League. The 37-year-old veteran announced on Twitter on Saturday (January 2) to enlighten about his intentions for not playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore side.

However, he confirmed about playing in other leagues but will take his time out give him space for indulging in other things though he still wanted to be attached to the game he loves.

Steyn had a season with the RCB in 2020 which is not so to be talked about playing only three games taking just one wicket while giving aways runs at an economy of 11.40 but more than that his presence in the squad was quite mesmerising especially for the youngsters to whom Steyn was someone to look up to.
