Cristiano Ronaldo's 2nd debut for Manchester United likely to be hold

Manchester: Manchester United fans may have to hold patience to watch Cristiano Ronaldo’s second debut in Manchester United gear. Currently, he is in isolation at his villa in Cheshire for he was away with the Portugal squad for his World Cup qualifiers commitments.

The summer transfer window saw a lot of unpredictable transfers, the return of Cristiano to Old Trafford being the biggest of them.

Ever since his return was announced, the United fans have been counting down the days to see the ‘Prodigal Son’ gracing the pitch yet again.

Cristiano was set to make his debut on September 11 against New Castle United. Since the player will only have one day of training before the game due to his quarantine, it appears unlikely that Ole Gunner Solskjer will be able to put him in the starting lineup. Raphael Varane was given his debut by Ole after almost a fortnight since arrival.

However, the spectators will still be able to witness him being presented at Old Trafford, as the 36-year-old is set to take a solo walk to the center circle before the game. He could be seen starting in the squad against BSC Young Boys in Switzerland for United’s first UEFA Champions League encounter of this season the following Tuesday.
