Turin: Cristiano Ronaldo wants to play with his former teammate Karim Benzema and demanded the Juventus board to bring him to the Allianz Stadium. After a disappointing Champions League exit in the hands of Lyon, the Portuguese is dissatisfied with the performance of his teammates and wants some change in the side, as per reports.

Benzema and Ronaldo formed a lethal goal-scoring partnership for Real Madrid in eight continuous seasons. The Frenchman has scored 21 times in the league for Zinedine Zidane’s side as they lifted their 34th La Liga trophy this season. He has been with the club for 10 straight seasons, being the main forward option for Real Madrid.

Although Benzema is already 32 but can form a lethal partnership with Ronaldo that might help the ‘Old Lady’ win the Champions League for the first time since 1996. The Juventus board was desperate to be the European champions so they bought Ronaldo from Real Madrid after he had three successful Champions League-winning campaign, but still, the fate of the side hasn’t changed.

However, the Juventus board is under a huge financial loss due to the COVID-19 crisis and it will be difficult for them to pay the huge wages of Ronaldo, with the Portuguese superstar is linked with many clubs for a possible transfer and Barcelona is one of them. There is a chance to witness Lionel Messi and Ronaldo together. Chances are high but time will  tell what’s gonna happen.
