Cricket fraternity reacts to Air India flight crash; check what they said

New Delhi: The Indian cricket fraternity has expressed condolences to the family members of the passenger who died in a fatal mishap on Friday (August 7) after an Air India Express flight skidded off the runway and broke in two portions while landing at Kozhikode Airport, Kerala.

The flight, which was returning from Dubai and was a part of the Vande Bharat Mission, had 190 passengers on board. According to the reports, at least 18 people, including pilot Captain Deepak Vasant Sathe, were killed and several others injured in the crash. India team captain Virat Kohli took to twitter and expressed deepest condolences to the loved ones of those who lost their lives in Kerala plane crash accident.

Hitman Rohit Sharma tweeted and prayed for the passengers and the staff on the AirIndia flight in Kozhikode.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has also expressed condolences and tweeted about the safety of everyone on board and grief to the families who have lost their near ones.
