Kolkata : Buddhist Club defeated Bagmari Club 2–0 in the final match to become Calcutta Football League (CFL) 5th Division Champion Group B at YMCA Ground.
Goals from Irfan Khan and Narayan Sardar in the final sealed the deal for Buddhist Club. They denied Bagmari any chances to score goals.
Earlier in the tournament’s group stages, they also secured notable victories, including a 1–0 win over Milan Chakra Club at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar SA Ground.
Buddhist Club will now be promoted to CFL 5th Division Group A following their win in Group B.
