Paris: Brazilian striker Neymar has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from a holiday in Ibiza, Spain. Neymar’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) teammate Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes have also contracted with the virus following their trips to the party island. All three will be forced into isolation for at least one week.

They will apparently have to quarantine for seven days meaning they will have little time to prepare for the Ligue 1 opener against Lens on September 10. Last week, PSG lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final at Lisbon. This was the first time PSG entered the final of the tournament.
