Sydney: Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg has reacted to Wasim Jaffer’s dig at Australia’s batting order. The former cricketers were recently involved in a Twitter banter after Hogg criticised the batting technique of India.

Hogg pointed out that Indian top-order batsmen need to leave more deliveries outside off-stump against the moving ball after witnessing their performance in the ongoing tour match against Australia A in Sydney on Saturday.

“Indian top order need to know where they’re off stump is, learn to leave the ball off a good length, and not chase the ball moving away outside off stump,” Hogg tweeted. Taking a dig at Hogg’s comment Jaffer wrote, “Australia need to know who their top order is,” Jaffer tweeted.

A day after the banter on Twitter, Hogg gave a witty reply to Jaffer in a hilarious manner. The former spinner wrote: “Spot on Legend, looks like our openers are Burns out.”

Aussie opener David Warner has already been ruled out of the series-opener with a groin injury while Will Pucovski suffered a concussion after being hit on his helmet while batting for Australia A in the first tour match.

Joe Burns is completely out of form. Australia have added Marcus Harris to their squad but things are not looking promising at all for the upcoming matches. Meanwhile, the Men in Blue are currently taking on Australia A in a pink-ball warm-up match at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.
