Aussie youngster debutant Sam Konstas (60) smashed Indian Bowlers especially premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah all over the park, his innings included 6 boundaries and 2 sixes.
He notched 89 runs opening stand with Usman Khawaja (72), who also took toll on Indian Bowlers.
Middle order talisman Batters Steven Smith (68*) & Marnus Labuschangne (72) played wonderful knocks to put Indian bowlers in backfoot.
The only positivity in Indian bowling yet again remained Jasprit Bumrah (3/75), picking important wickets of Usman Khawaja, Travis Head & Mitchell Marsh.
Australia are on 311-6 at the end of Day 1, with Steven Smith (68*) & Pat Cummins (8*) on crease.
