Kolkata : Bengal will aim to begin their BCCI domestic 2025-26 season on a winning note when the Senior Women’s team get their T20 Trophy Elite campaign underway on Wednesday.
Bengal Senior Women’s team led by Mita Paul will take on Madhya Pradesh in their opening match at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur tomorrow. With good pre-season preparations, Bengal will look to go one step further after finishing as runners-up last season.
The following day, on Thursday, the Bengal Under-19 Men’s team will compete in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy Elite. With an unbeaten record and three pre-season trophies, the U-19 team led by Chandrahas Dash will aim for the title after finishing as runners-up last season.
Next up, the all-important Ranji Trophy Elite campaign will begin October 15 onwards, with Bengal taking on Uttarakhand at the Eden Gardens. The team will aim to go all guns blazing this season to bag the prestigious crown.
The other Bengal men’s and women’s age-group teams will also aim to go the distance in their respective domestic tournaments.
