Kolkata : Bengal outclassed Madhya Pradesh by 6 wickets in Raipur on Monday to bag their second victory in the Chhattisgarh Cup T20 Senior Women’s Invitational tournament.
Batting first, Madhya Pradesh managed only 113/6 in 20 overs. Saika Ishaque bagged three wickets, Monika Mal claimed two while Sushmita Ganguly took one for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal chased the target down comfortably, scoring 117/4 in 17.4 overs. Mita Paul (42 not out) and Priyanka Bala (28) were the star batters for Bengal.
