Bayern Munich sign full-back Bouna Sarr from Olympique Marseille

Munich: Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Bouna Sarr from Olympique de Marseille for a reported fee of 10m euros. He penned a four-year contract that would keep him at the Allianz Arena till 2024. Bayern Unveiled the signing on social media on Monday (October 5).

 

“I’m very happy to be able to join a big club like FC Bayern. For me, a dream comes true and I will give everything to help write the successful history of this club. ” Sarr added on the move.

Born in France, Bouna started his career at Ligue 1 side, Metz, before moving Marseille back in 2015 with whom he made 181 appearances across all competitions for five seasons and also played the UEFA Europa League Final back in 2018 against Atletico Madrid.

Speaking on the move, Sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić said in a Bayern statement: “Bouna Sarr is a dynamic right-back who fits in very well with our approach to the game. He will help us in an important position. Sarr brings with his 28 years of experience and stability, and we also believe that he will develop again at FC Bayern.”

Bayern have been active in this summer transfer window and managed to lock the deal of Sarr adding more firepower to their armoury.
