Kolkata: ATKMB has signed Jose Luis Espinosa Arroyo, betterly known as Tiri as their sixth foreigner. Tiri who has played for and won a title previously for ATK back in 2015 and 2016 season, was excited to join the defending ISL champions.
Tiri joined Jamshedpur FC in 2017 from ATK, after two succesful season at the ‘City of Joy’. So it’s more like home-coming for him. He has played 48 matches for Jamshedpur FC in last three seasons but failed to qualify for the play offs, so a player of Tiri’s calibre was looking for a team who possess success in their D.N.A and ATKMB no doubt is the most successful club till date in the history of the ISL as they have won three titles till date.

Antonio Lopez Habas brought Tiri from the Atletico Madrid B team to ATK back in 2015, so it’s like a reunion for the coach with his boy. Rock in the defence and strong in the air, Tiri is a good purchase for ATKMB.
ATK after their merge with Mohun Bagan are building a very strong side, as players like Roy Krishna, David Williams, Edu Garcia, Carl McHugh, Jobby Justin, Subhasish Bose, Manvir Singh has joined them this season and reports claim, Indian International defender Sandesh Jinghan roping up with them. This will make the team stronger and better for the upcoming ISL and the AFC Cup.
