ATK-Mohun Bagan rope in Manvir Singh from FC Goa

Kolkata: ATK Mohun Bagan has announced the signing of 24-year-old Indian international Manvir Singh from FC Goa on a three-year contract deal. “2018 Indian Super Cup Champion @manvir_singh07 is our newest recruit! The National Team striker will represent ATK Mohun Bagan FC for the next three years,” the franchise tweeted.

Manvir who was a regular substitute in FC Goa under Sergio Lobera and has scored three goals in 47 appearances for the club. He was effective from the right-wing for his sheer pace and power.

After the signing Manvir tweeted, “I am happy to announce that @atkmohunbaganfc is my new club and am very excited to wear the green and maroon colours in the upcoming season of @IndSuperLeague and also in the AFC Cup.”


The 24-year-old started his career in Kolkata, playing for the second division I-League side Mohammedan Sporting. Later he played for Minerva Punjab and after that for FC Goa.

He made his international debut against Mauritius under former Indian coach Stephen Constantine. Manvir will add spark to the ATKMB frontline, with the likes of Roy Krishna, David Williams, Edu Garcia and Jobby Justin already in the side.
