Kolkata : Men’s Asia Cup 2025 is set to kick start from September 9 to 28 , 2025 at Dubai. Opening Match will be played between Hong Kong and Afghanistan.
8 teams featuring in 2 groups of 4 will be played in T20 format ahead of T20 World Cup 2026. Top 2 teams from each group will qualify to Super Four Stage.
India and Pakistan are clubbed in Group A along with UAE and Oman, while Bangladesh, Sri Lanka , Afghanistan, Hong Kong are placed in Group B.
The ACC will allow 17-member squads for the 19-match tournament and matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The marquee group match between India and Pakistan will be held at the Dubai International Stadium on September 14.
The arch-rivals are clubbed in the same group and are expected to face off again in a Super Four game the following Sunday (September 21).
India will begin their campaign on September 10 against UAE, and play their last group match against Oman on September 19.
