Kolkata: The Asia Cup 2022 is set to start from August 27,2022. Afghanistan to begin the tournament with Sri Lanka, followed by India and Pakistan the next day.
Indian men’s cricket team seek to take revenge on Pakistan after their 10 wicket defeat at the T20 World Cup held last year. While Sri Lanka was the initial host, the tournament has been shifted to UAE due to political turmoil in the island nation.
The wait is finally over as the battle for Asian supremacy commences on 27th August with the all-important final on 11th September.

The tournament will begin on August 27 at Dubai, with six teams fighting against each other. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are the 5 confirmed teams so far. UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will be playing a Qualifier for the 6th spot in Asia Cup 2022.
All Asian nations are expected to send full-strength team as it will be a great testing ground before T20 World Cup in October.
