Kolkata : Former Indian spinner Amit Mishra has dropped a massive truth bomb regarding Kohli-Gambhir feud in IPL 2023. He said it was Gambhir who eventually ended the clash.

Virat Kohli, Gambhir, Naveen Ul Haq entered into a heated verbal spat in IPL 2023 post Match of RCB vs LSG.

The two players – Gambhir and Kohli had a verbal confrontation, which escalated into a significant dispute. The conflict began when Virat Kohli had a verbal spat with Naveen-ul-Haq during the game. This altercation intensified, leading to a major confrontation. The tension between Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq continued even after the game, with the duo engaging in another heated exchange during the post-match handshakes.

Gautam Gambhir, the then mentor of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), intervened to support his teammate when Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq were engaged in their altercation. This led to a fierce exchange between Gambhir and Kohli, escalating tensions as members from both teams got involved.

During this year’s IPL, both players hugged each other and ended the fight.

Amit Mishra, a part of the LSG franchise for 3 years said that it was Gambhir who came forward and ended the feud.

“I saw a good thing about Gautam. Virat Kohli didn’t go towards him, Gautam went towards him. He went and asked ‘How are you, how’s your family.’ So it was Gautam who ended the feud and not Kohli,” Amit said.

“So Gautam showed his big heart at that time. It should have been Kohli who should have gone and ended the feud. He should have gone and said ‘Gauti bhai, let’s end this,’he added.

Gambhir is now newly appointed head coach of Indian Team , beginning the stint from Sri Lanka series later this month.
