Dubai: The Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen some of the best fielding efforts from cricketers all around the world over the years. But on Sunday (September 27), fans got to see the best of all as Nicholas Pooran produced a stunning save in the outfield for Kings XI Punjab against Rajasthan Royals.
The incident happened in the eighth over of Rajasthan Royals’ innings. Sanju Samson pulled a shorter one from KXIP’s Murugan Ashwin. Pooran flung himself and made a full-stretched dive in while hanging in the air as he held onto the ball before throwing it back outside the boundary line to save his team a vital six runs.
From commentator Kevin Pietersen to legendary Sachin Tendulkar can’t stop praising Pooran after his breathtaking save. Sachin gave the West Indies player a huge compliment by calling his save ‘the best he has ever seen’. Let’s look at all the tweets:
