AB De Villiers starts new innings behind the mic

Cape Town: Batting sensation AB de Villiers recently teamed up with singer and songwriter Karen Zoid and the Ndlovu Youth Choir to sing a new song titled, ‘The Flame’
Which is aimed to celebrating the human spirit.

De Villiers joined hands with Karen Zoid to put out a positive message to inspire and give hope to the African nation after what has been a difficult year because of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Taking to his Twitter, the Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman shared the music video, and captioned it as, “Wrote this song with @karenzoid & the @ChoirAfrica . We’re all so different, but united we form the perfect picture.”

The video also features RCB skipper Virat Kohli, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, Chris Morris, Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada.

The music video was released on YouTube on 29 October(Thursday).
It was shot in different parts of the world. According to the YouTube music video description, the song was filmed in Cape Town, Limpopo and Dubai. 

“Filmed and recorded with Karen Zoid in Cape Town, The Ndlovu Youth Choir in Limpopo and AB who currently is in Dubai for the IPL cricket tournament,” reads the description.


De Villiers is currently in UAE, representing RCB at IPL 13th.
