Dubai: West Indies cricketer and IPL’s most explosive batsman, Chris Gayle, has not got a chance to play yet. His fans are very excited to see their favourite player in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. But it seems that fans may have to wait for a little more as he has  been recovering from a stomach problem in a hospital in the UAE.

The 41-year-old cricketer, who holds the record for the most sixes in the Indian Premier League, said he won’t go down without a fight.

Posting a picture of himself on Saturday (October 10) Gayle wrote, “I can tell you this!!! I will never go down without a fight!! I Am The #UniverseBoss – That will never changed!! You can learn from me…but its not everything I do you should follow!! Don’t forget my style and flare too!! #LivingDiLife #Always Thanks for all your concerns peeps, much appreciated (I really was on a phone call)”, Gayle wrote along with a picture of him lying in a hospital bed in the UAE.

Kings XI Punjab went all the way down to Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday to undergo their 6th loss of this season. Gayle, who is an integral part of KXIP, has not played a single game for the KL Rahul-led team.

KXIP will next face Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday (October 15) in the UAE.
