Brisbane: Australia’s wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy has reached a rare achievement on Sunday (September 27) as she broke former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record of having most dismissals as a ‘keeper in the shortest form of the game. The right-handed batter has reached the feat against New Zealand in the second T20I of the three-match series at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane.

At present, Healy has 94 dismissals in T20Is, while Dhoni has a record of 91 dismissals. Dhoni had played 98 T20Is for India while Healy is still going strong with 114 T20Is in her kitty.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Dhoni is currently playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL)in the UAE. After the T20I series against New Zealand, Healy will be seen in action for Australia in the upcoming three-match ODI series against the same opponent on October 3, 5 and 7.
