Kolkata : Sudip Gharami led Novas Royals Purulia to 15 runs win against Kolkata Royal Tigers at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, in a rain curtailed 10 overs encounter of Bengal T20 League 2026.
Purulia Batting first lost Jayojit Basu (5) in very second over. However, Ankur Paul (40) and skipper Sudip Gharami (58*) notched 50 runs stand, and with aggressive Batting, guided Purulia to 124/3 (10).
Kolkata chasing 125 started with aggressive intent but lost 3 wickets for 60 runs in 6.1 overs. Despite valiant effort of 64*(35) from their captain Abhishek Porel, Kolkata fell short by 15 runs. Gharami was awarded Player of the match as debutant Purulia secured second consecutive win of the season.
