Black Panthers pull off their third consecutive Calcutta Football League title in a row. This is the second time in the history that Mohammedan SC have achieve the hat trick of League titles, last time they won in the year 1934,1935 and 1936 respectively.
The Match witness an early goal in the 17th minute by Remsanga with a brilliant header. Minutes before ending the 1st half, the goal cushion is doubled by Mohammedanâs and CFLâs star striker David Lalhansanga who dribble and nets Mohun Baganâs defence and makes it 2-0. David increases his goal tally and finish scoring 21 goals in the Calcutta Premier Division 2023 season.

In the 2nd half, Mohammedan didnât allow any goal to be scored by Mohun Bagan with sheer defence, thereby clinching their 3rd title with a scoreline of 2-0.
