Cuiaba: Argentina will face Bolivia in their final Group A encounter at the Copa America 2021 at Arena Pantanal on Tuesday. Having already booked their place in the quarters, a win would consolidate Argentina’s position at the top of the group to get a better draw in the next round.

Elsewhere in Rio de Janeiro, Uruguay would be looking forward to keeping their winning momentum when they face Paraguay. With Bolivia already out on contention having failed to lodge a single point in three matches, the top four is already finalised irrespective of results. Even if Bolivia manage to upset Argentina it won’t make any difference.

Argentina had a disappointing start to the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Chile in the opener. But Lionel Scaloni’s men hence have maintained their winning run defeating both Paraguay and Uruguay by identical 1-0 margins.

Bolivia, on the other hand, had one of the most disappointing tournaments so far scoring just once in the whole 270 minutes they played. Erwin Saveedra has been the lone scorer for Bolivia so far with the goal coming against Paraguay from a spot kick. The last time Argentina met Bolivia, the former won with a 2-1 scoreline.

Elsewhere, both Uruguay and Paraguay will fight for their final positions in the group at the Olympic Stadium. As of now Paraguay are second in the group with six points and Uruguay at fourth place with four points.

Uruguay started their campaign with a 0-1 defeat against Argentina, followed by a draw with Chile. However, they found their rhythm back with a 2-0 victory over Bolivia. Oscar Tabarez’s men would want nothing less than a victory as finishing fourth would mean them facing Brazil in the next round.

Paraguay on the other hand had a perfect start to their season defeating Bolivia 3-1 but were pulled back by Argentina courtesy of a goal from Papu Gomez. Paraguay have a chance to leap to the top in the group. Keeping the first place at sight, Paraguay would also want all the points from the match.
