Kolkata : A superb all-round performance helped Bengal outclass TNCA XI by 6 wickets in the All India Buchi Babu Invitational Cricket Tournament in Chennai on Thursday.
After bowling out TNCA XI for 203 in their first innings, Bengal posted 241.
TNCA XI, in their second innings, were bundled out for 213. Vishal Bhati bagged 6 for 75 while Aamir Gani claimed 3 for 94 for Bengal.
Chasing the target, Bengal went over the line easily scoring 179/4 in 32.2 overs. Sudip Kumar Gharami (70 off 93), Abishek Porel (50 off 42), Aditya Purohit (33 off 21) were star performers with the bat.
Bengal’s Saurabh Kr Singh was awarded the player of the match for his superb performance.
