The tournament witnessed a new high when Adamas Howrah Warriors posted the highest total of the tournament, 178/3 against Sobisco Smashers Malda, powered by Sujata Dey’s historic unbeaten 112 off 53 deliveries — the first-ever century in the Women’s Bengal T20 League. The bowling standards have been uplifted backed by some spectacular performances, with Adamas Howrah Warriors’ Sreyoshi Aich recording the best bowling figures of the season with 5/14 against Servotech Siliguri Strikers.
Each side having played seven league matches, four teams have emerged as the strongest title contenders: Adamas Howrah Warriors, Servotech Siliguri Strikers, Murshidabad Kueens and Shrachi Rarh Tigers. The format is: 1st plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd. The winners meet in the Final.
Semi-Final 1 | 1st Vs 4th – Adamas Howrah Warriors Vs Shrachi Rarh Tigers
On paper, Adamas Howrah Warriors enter the contest as overwhelming favourites. They have dominated the tournament through a combination of explosive batting, disciplined bowling and match-winning individual performances. But knockout cricket has a habit of ignoring reputations, and Shrachi Rarh Tigers arrive as a side capable of upsetting the established order.
Adamas Howrah Warriors have been the benchmark of consistency throughout the tournament. Dominant with both bat and ball, they finished the league stage as the side that every opponent wanted to challenge, but few managed to overcome.
Their campaign has been built around a perfect balance of explosive batting and disciplined bowling. Leading from the front has been Sujata Dey, whose record-breaking unbeaten 112 has been the defining moment of the tournament. The opener currently leads the batting charts with 276 runs from seven innings at an average of 55.20 and a strike rate of 140.10.
Supporting her has been Tithi Das, who has contributed 219 runs at an impressive average of 54.75, while Priyanka Prasad’s unbeaten 89 off 49 balls against Servotech Siliguri Strikers highlighted the depth in their batting unit.
With the ball, Sreyoshi Aich has been unstoppable. The leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 16 wickets, she has maintained an exceptional economy rate of 4.07 and has constantly provided breakthroughs at crucial moments. Disha Chandak and Remondina Khatun have further strengthened an attack that has been one of the biggest reasons behind Howrah’s dominance.
Shrachi Rarh Tigers have earned their place in the semi-finals through a combination of resilience and all-round performances. They enter the knockout stage knowing they have the ability to challenge the strongest teams in the competition.
Their batting has been anchored by Bristi Maji, who has scored 221 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 153.47, providing the aggression required in the shortest format.
The Tigers’ biggest weapon, however, has been their bowling attack. Rupal Tiwari has been among the standout bowlers of the season, finishing with 13 wickets at an economy rate of 4.96. Her best figures of 4/16 against Servotech Siliguri Strikers showcased her ability to deliver under pressure.
Semi-Final 2 | 2nd Vs 3rd – Servotech Siliguri Strikers Vs Murshidabad Kueens
If the first semi-final is about favourites versus challengers, the second promises a fascinating battle between experience and unpredictability. Murshidabad Kueens have consistently found ways to win under pressure, while Servotech Siliguri Strikers possess the firepower capable of changing games in a matter of overs.
Servotech Siliguri Strikers have quietly built one of the strongest campaigns of the tournament. Their balanced performances across departments have helped them secure a place among the final four.
Their batting has been powered by consistent contributions from the top order, while Ananya Halder has led their bowling attack with 10 wickets in six innings at an economy rate of 6.10.
The Strikers will enter the semi-final knowing that knockout cricket is about handling pressure, and their ability to stay composed against one of the tournament’s strongest sides could determine their fate.
Murshidabad Kueens have once again shown why they remain one of the most competitive sides in the Women’s Bengal T20 League. With a squad featuring experience and emerging talent, they have consistently found ways to win crucial moments throughout the season.
Their batting charge has been led by their Captain Tanushree Sarkar, who has accumulated 244 runs in seven innings at an average of 48.80 and a strike rate of 129.10.
The Kueens have also produced some outstanding bowling performances. Jahanbi Raj Paswaan delivered one of the finest spells of the season with figures of 4/7 against Rashmi Nes Medinipur Wizards, proving that their bowling attack can dismantle any batting line-up on its day.
